Inertia Avenue have parted company with Casey and are on the lookout for a new drummer.We are now on the lookout for a suitible replacement and to take the band to the next level. Are you up to the job? Here are the particulars...
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic for the music and generally loves playing drums. We want someone who can learn the songs in their own time and so rehearsal time is focussed on actually rehearsing and not going over parts constantly. All we want is someone who is tight, hits hard and learns quickly as we have a massive 18 songs for you to learn! You shall not be short of materia to learn!!We play to a sample track via a laptop.
You would be playing to a click track and operating the laptop (to be honest, if you can push play and keep in time its as easy as that!) Previous experience of playing to live click tracks is not essential as its not rocket science - if you are a good drummer who can keep time you will have no problems whatsoever!
REHEARSAL & GEAR
Inertia Avenue have their own dedicated rehearsal space (none of this pay-by-the-hour crap!) out by Edinburgh Airport. The room is fully equipped with an awesomedrumkit, PA and our own amps. All you'd need is your cymbals and sticks (which you would be free to keep in the room for convenience if desired). We rehearse on Tuesdays & Thursdays typically but some flexibility can be had.

We don't mind if you have other band committments outside of IA as long as when you are with us you give us your best shot and enjoy doing it.
