This was THE very first Inertia Avenue song! It was written sort of by accident I guess. I had become interested in learning how to record music in mid-2006 and got hold of Cubase SX3. I needed to learn the basics so I need something to work with (even learning how to just record something was a good place to start coz I knew nothing at that point!). So, I picked up the guitar and made what is now the chorus part up on the spot. Once I had figured out enough of the functions in Cubase to go about recording a full song I finished off the arrangment. This recording was eventually lost after my hard drive crashed but was re-recorded again along with other new songs in early 2007...with a bit more knowledge by that point of how to record!

The lyrics are mostly about the way I had to change my life and make some big decisions. These mostly involved getting out of my dead-end job and back into full-time study, but also other psychological and emotional changes I had to make in my life.

We never play this song as a band as it just doesn't seem to work, its more of an album track really. But, if we do ever manage to get a keyboard player then this song could make an appearance in the set as the chorus heavily relies of the overdubbed melody.
