Song Title: Live Forever
Music by: Hammy
Arrangement by: Hammy, Gary
Lyrics by: Hammy
Written: Sep 2007
Recorded: Nov/Dec 2007

Given the simplicity of this song its not difficult to imagine that it was written fairly quickly and with a degree of ease compared to other more dynamic songs. All I remember was that Tony couldn't make a rehearsal one night so to try find something productive to do, me and Gary just jammed and improvised some stuff and this one began to emerge.

I do remember that at first I thought this was going a bit pop and cheesy but then thinking...'that's all good!' We got the bulk of the arrangement done that night then I finalised it and ammended bits over the following days in my own time.

I had fun with the lyrics on this one. I knew the song sounded happy and cheerful but I didn't want the lyrics to be a-typical Arvil Lavigne style cliche'd crap about relationships and sticking together and being in love and all that stupid chick guff. I decided 'why not make it a song about hating someone's guts'. I think it defiinately worked having the lyrics completely opposed to the music in their overall tone. All I had to do was think of lines that were insulting and nothing conveys dislike for someone as telling them to go kill themself really! I used as many catchphrases and amusing insults as I could both remember and put together in a coherent way. It was a lot of fun I can tell you!

Who do you think you are with that attitude?
I'd slap your face good-looking only if I could
Turn around and face yourself
I like telling you what to do
When I want your opinion I'll give it to you

When we've had too much to drink
You take the rise out of me
But I'll be sober in the morning
And you'll still be ugly

What would it be like to be born again?
For you once is enough you’ll never be my friend

Kill Yourself
I will live forever
Hear me now
I'll keep it together
You’ll see how it could be so wonderful

Throw yourself deep into a river
Surfacing only when its clear
That you have lost
And I have got one over you

When I'm picturing your face
It takes me to a special place
And things were oh so different then

But of all the things I'd love to do
Is take my vengeance out on you
It would be so wonderful

Throw yourself off a skyscraper
I'm serious, that's how much I hate her!
Try it now, it could be so wonderful
Kill yourself and I will live forever
I will live forever
